The Higher Education Commission is due to release a policy report titled: From Bricks to Clicks: the potential of data and analytics in higher education.
The report reviews the current data landscape across English higher education institutions; reviewing data collection and methods, learning analytics and the current barriers to developing data management and data analytics for the foreseeable future. Future projections are then presented based upon the Higher Education sector, and how it may change in the next 5-10 years, how institutions can take advantage of the opportunities a higher degree of data collection and analysis can produce, and how Higher Educations students may benefit from the conclusions of such data analysis.
A launch event is planned to occur on the 26th January, 2016 at the Higher Education Commission, in Southwark, London, and will run from 8.30am to 10am, including breakfast and speeches.
